We took a bunch of grandchildren to this trout lake and loaded up on Rainbow Trout. It isn't cheap but if you had to pay for a license, reels, bait somewhere else then it seems reasonable-plus you get to take home the trout. Ours were delicious! The kids were thrilled.

The trout lakes (big ponds) were just the thing for my 17,13,12, and 11 year old's. Within minutes they were all reeling in their catch! I was having a hard time baiting my hook without having to help them get a fish off theirs.... They charge by the inch on what you catch, however you do not have to have a out of state fishing lic., or fishing poles and bait because they furnish it all. A couple of my kids hadn't fished before so it was perfect for breaking them in and making sure they were enjoying their first outing. Be sure and ask for Bradly, he was such a great help and very informative on how to choose the best spot, not to mention getting some of the hooks out. For a 9 yr old he is practically a professional :-) We are still laughing at the videos we took!
