We drove to the falls on our return from The Twelve Apostles. The drive is beautiful. The last 5klms are unmade but pretty good road. The walk from the car park to the falls is a fairly easy one that most people could manage, and well worth the walk. The trees and ferns are spectacular, and the waterfalls really beautiful. We loved it.

A well maintained hiking trail to the falls (yes, plural). There are two choices of trails, we took the shortest. Our two primary school age kids made the trek in around 1 1/2 hours. There were a few remarks about the steps up, but when you go down....you got to get back up. The educational signs were beneficial to the kids as this was their first Rainforest trek. We really enjoyed identifying trees and found some Black Snails as well (the carnivorous ones).

a bit off the highway but worth the visit. If you suffer from sciatica or other back or mobility problems It might be a bit challenging but there are plenty of stops along the trail and handrails are along almost the whole track. take your time and enjoy this historically significant place. you will even see what a 300+ year old mountain ash tree :)

My wife and I did the Triplet Falls walk on a recent Great Ocean Road trip. The walk is extremely well maintained and well set out with a wooden slatted trail the whole way. Anyone with a reasonable level of fitness/mobility should be able to complete the walk quite easily. The falls themselves were fairly empty when we were there as it was in January, but were picturesque and provided some good "selfie" opportunities. I would imagine when full they could be quite spectacular. There are other points of interest along the walk, mainly relating to the logging works which took place in the area in the early 1900's. There are also some very old huge Eucalyptus trees which are very impressive. Probably not a "must see", but a pleasant way to spend an hour or so on your travels and to get a bit of exercise. I suggest you then go on to Forrest for lunch at the Bespoke Harvest (see separate review).

We had been here once before and loved it, came back a second time to show a friend but unfortunately after a nice walk 3/4 of the way in it stared pouring with rain so we headed back up to the car park, soaking wet and exhausted from trying to run (I'm not very fit) all I can say is give it a go BUT take a poncho or rain coat :)

We did this walk after doing Mait's Rest and Otway Treetop. This was our favourite. A bit of dirt road to negotiate but it is safe and well worth it. It has everything the other two have to offer but is a little more intriguing and free. If you were unfit and had mobility trouble I would recommend Mait's Rest, if you wanted a Tree top experience and could afford it the Treetops, but this one is the pick for me. Just a lovely place.

This is a 1hr return track that is a must do in the area. The carpark is quite large with several picnic tables. The track offers a beautiful rainforest, comfortable boardwalk and one of the largest waterfalls in the area.

Loved it, highly recommend. Don't think about the stairs on the way down as you do a loop and don't go back the same way. Beautiful.

To get to the waterfall, you need to go down many many steps. If you take your time to walk down and back up, 1 hour is sufficient. If you are fast, you can complete in 40 minutes. We went there in the morning and it was rather cold. The steps are well built. You know you are near when you can hear the fall. There is no access to the fall, just a lookout deck from afar. There are less steps , but slopes on the way back up. Quite a good work out I would say.
